human urine at a cut-off concentration of 1000 ng/ml. TCA are commonly used for the treatment of depressive disorders.
Overdose of TCA can cause central nervous system depression, cardiotoxicity and anticholinergic effects. TCA urine drug
tests are available as cassette and dip stick formats.
