BZD Urine Test

Benzodiazepine urine drug test is a one step rapid immunoassay designed to identify benzodiazepine abuse by detecting its main metabolite oxazepam in urine at a cut-off concentration of 300 ng/ml. Benzodiazepines are a group of widely used central nervous system depressants having anxiolytic, hypnotics, anticonvulsant and muscle relaxant effects. Oxazepam remains detectable in urine for up to one week. Benzodiazepine urine drug tests are available in cassette and dipstick formats.
